Homesite Descriptions
Homesite 1 (SL1) is an excellent homesite for a walk-out mountain residence with all the possibilities of capturing the best Rocky Mountain views imaginable. The planned ski lift next to this plot will not only offer great ski-in ski-out possibilities, but also creates a great view corridor up and down the mountain. This homesite is just over 100 feet wide in the front and approximately 160 feet long. The back of the homesite is east-facing with unobstructed sunlight through the morning until mid-afternoon.
Homesite 3 (SL3) has wonderful views over the Rocky Mountains and looks down on other Kicking Horse plots and the Benchlands. The size of the homesite gives the owner enough privacy and space but without being secluded from others and it is a relatively close distance to the village centre. The homesite is east-facing and offers sun from the morning until mid-afternoon over top the Dogtooth and Clamshell peaks.
Homesite 4 (SL4) is very similar to Homesite 3, with spectacular views of Terminator Ridge in the Purcells and Mount Moberly in the Rockies.
Homesite 5 (SL5) juts out onto Thompson Crescent, maximizing exposure, is 136 feet wide in the front, right at the entrance of the development. The views from the lot are beautiful and there is a lot of sun exposure being on the upper corner of the development.
Homesite 6 (SL6) offers the best views of any plot in Cedar Creek Estates and probably one of the best in all of the resort. Great location next to Cedar Creek (the only one available) and perched high above the road. Access is from the back so you can hide the car-garage and use the front to capture all the views to the Rockies and north Columbia Valley.
Homesite 7 (SL7), offering the best view, after Homesite 6, allows for access from the back. The plot is one of the largest in Cedar Creek Estates and suitable for a great four season chalet.
Homesite 9 (SL9) provides views both up and down the mountain; with a trail on the left side to the back of the lot. The plot is located close to the flowing Cedar Creek and the start of a great hike.
Homesite 16 (SL16), 17 (SL17), 18 (SL18) are the most private of any others in Cedar Creek Estates. With future lift development, there may be a ski-in/out trail at the back of these plots. Elevation, size, shape, and slope of these plots allow for great mountain home design.
