Get the most out of your day! The Adventure Pass includes a round trip ticket on the Golden Eagle Express Gondola which will take you to amazing heights and sights. Once at the summit, stop into the Eagle's Eye Restaurant for Lunch and take in the breathtaking panoramic view. Once you return to the Village Plaza, head over to the Catamount Chair Lift and ride up to Mid-Station for your opportunity to see a live Grizzly Bear! Don't worry, both you and Boo (the resident Grizzly Bear) are safe! While at the Grizzly Bear Refuge, you will learn about why Boo is living at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and the history of his life, how to tell the difference between Black Bears and Grizzly Bears, as well as some general Grizzly Bear knowledge. Interperative tours are held at the Grizzly Bear Refuge hourly between 9am and 5pm (no tour at 1pm). This is one day you don't want to miss!

Meet our resident grizzly bear Boo, and learn more about this magnificent species. Interpretive tours are available daily between June 10 and September 25. Guides lead tours every hour on the hour from 9am to 5pm (except for 1pm, when Boo is likely to be napping). The best time to see Boo is early in the morning, so try to arrive for the 9am tour.

The Ranger Assistant Program provides an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at Boo and the Grizzly Bear Refuge after regular hours. It is recommended that guests first attend the 5pm interpretive tour and then remain for the RAP program beginning at 6pm. The maximum party size is five.

Kicking Horse Cubs is an exciting half-day program just for kids held every Saturday at the Grizzly Bear Refuge. The day includes a guided visit to the refuge, interactive learning, a scavenger hunt, snacks, and a short guided hike from the refuge back to the day lodge. A minimum party of four kids is required.
